I had a wonderful time during spring break. I tried to take advantage of the time I had outside as much as I could. Over the break I had recently come to own a brand new camera. I had just got the Canon Rebel t7 at the beginning of spring break and I brought my camera almost everywhere I went. I was obsessed and couldn't stop taking pictures so here are some of the pictures I took over spring break.
These photos are from when my sister took me a long with her to go thrifting. I personally don't like thrifting much but I thought this could be a perfect opportunity to take some pictures with my new camera.
I like these pictures because I took them when she was focused and distracted so the photos look natural and not a forced pose. I also like that your eyes are drawn to her immediately with the background blurred and her clear and up front
As I said before I tried to spend most of my time outside, so I would go to parks and walk in nature and see what I could capture with my camera. (photo of bird) When I was walking I spotted this bird that I've never seen before. It looked unusual to me and it was very still so I took that small window of opportunity to capture the bird.
I later looked up the bird and it turned out to be a bird called a roadrunner. They are very fast running birds so I was very fortunate to have the bird be very still and stay in the same area for a period of time. One factor that was unfortunate was that it blended into the ground it was standing on so I tried my best in editing the photo to bring out the color and figure of the bird.
When I got my new camera it came with a EF 75-300 mm lens.
I was extremely excited about this
because there were many things
I wanted to take pictures of but
was too far for me to capture.
One of those things was the moon.
I always love taking pictures of the moon but never had a camera close enough to take pictures where you could see the details of the moon. The first opportunity I could I went to a tall building and tried to capture the full moon. I'm very satisfied with the results of the photos and tried my best in editing to enhance the moon's natural beauty.
These are some other photos that I took over the break that I really love.
