I had a wonderful time during my Christmas vacation. I spent a good amount of my time outside as I did inside. When I went out I didn’t have the intention to shoot photos but I made sure to watch out for the opportunities I’d have and take advantage of them.
My favorite picture I took during the holiday break was of my sister’s best friend Kassy sitting on the edge of a lifeguard station at the beach in the neighborhood of Corona Del Mar. It was very dark as it was night time and the sun had already set.
I loved how the color of her jeans, the soles of her converse, and the highlights in her hair really popped with brightness and color. I like how the person in the back was a bit blurry and not fully clear so that you can focus more on her instead.
Corona del Mar is a neighborhood in a beachside area in Newport Beach California. It includes all of the property on the seaward face of San Joaquin Hills, just north of Irvine Terrane and south of Avocado Avenue.
I really enjoy sunsets, they are always so beautiful and I can’t help but take pictures of them. This is a picture of the sky when the sun was setting. I took the photo while I was in the car on a bridge going over a riverbend. My favorite kind of sunsets is when there are the right amount of clouds in the sky to compliment the multiple colors of the sky but not cover them up.
